On Saturday, November 25, 2023, Professionals in Lagos State gathered for an engaging session of AIFA Book Club hosted by Mr. Patrick Koshoni. The event brought together friends, patrons of Milki, and members of AIFA Reading Society. The focus of the session was the discussion of Elspeth Huxley’s literary masterpiece, “Four Guineas.”

Four Guineas narrates the account of Elspeth Huxley’s travels in Gambia, Sierra Leone, the Gold Coast and Nigeria. The author used the book as a medium to clarify the history, superstitions and tribal ways, the beauty and power, the great contrasts and complexities of the countries.
