On Friday December 6, 2024, AIFA Reading Society hosted Spreading Cheer 2024 at Awoyaya Primary School, spreading joy and festive cheer to 130 pupils and 10 teachers. Sponsored by The Dashurs Foundation, the event was filled with exciting activities, including games, a spelling bee competition, and Christmas carols, creating a memorable holiday experience for all.
The celebration featured a vibrant Yoruba cultural dance performance, adding a touch of tradition to the festivities. Christmas gifts, including brand-new shoes, were distributed to the children, ensuring they had something special for the season.
Adding to the festive spirit, the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators donated branded notebooks, while special guests like Ms. Funmilayo Adeshina from Kenna Partners joined in presenting prizes to winners.
